Shipping / Payment Information for Wild Type Betta Fish. |
Please note: no guarantee on shipments during cold weather months, except on Southwest Air Cargo shipments, delivered airport to airport.
Shipping Charges For Wild Bettas:
There are two possibilities for shipping wild bettas. The first is Air Freight, with Southwest or American as preffered shippers. This method
is strictly airport to airport, with freight charges dependent on weight and number of boxes. The second
method is Federal Express. Shipping charges will depend upon the weight of your order and your distance from us.
Once the auction is completed we will email you the exact shipping charges. Typically
shipping prices range from $40.00 to $65.00 or more. There will also be a $3.00 box charge and
a 2.00 heat pack charge, if needed. To receive an estimate, email
sales@wildbettas.com with your zip code and the
Betta Fish you are interested in. You may use your Federal Express account number to pay for the shipping
charges. All shipping will take place on Tuesday for a Wednesday delivery.
Payment information for purchasing Wild Bettas:
We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover,
American Express, PayPal, or you can send a money order. To pay with your credit card please
email credit card info along with wild betta type and quantity to sales@rarecichlids.com. For any other forms of payment please conact using the same email address to receive quote and arrange payment.
Guarantee
During the months of November through April, all shipments will not be guaranteed, unless Air Cargo is used.
The rest of the year live delivery is guaranteed only on
overnight air shipments and airport to airport Air Cargo delivery. Exceptions include:
1. The carrier transporting the fish is at fault. (Thunderstorm delayed airplane takeoff, routing problems, etc.)
2. The carrier fails to deliver the package within 24 hours.
3. The customer does not sign and/or receive the package at the scheduled delivery time.
If the fish does arrive dead these are the steps you need to follow to obtain a refund and/or replacement:
1. Email us at sales@rarecichlids.com
and let us know that the fish arrived DOA.
2. Repack and freeze the fish, be sure to add a pinch of salt to the water.
3. When you are ready to send it out, wrap the fish in a zip-lock bag and send it through USPS priority mail service. Please note that we must receive the fish within 4 days from the delivery day.
4. Once we receive the fish we will either replace the fish (if it is possible) or credit your account. Please be aware that the customer must pay the shipping charges for the replacement.
